Background - Amend Company Name

A resolution from a shareholders meetings is required to amend the name of a Thai company.

Generally, 7 days notice is required to hold a shareholders meeting.

After the shareholder resolves to amend the name of the Thai company, then an application must be submitted to the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) within 14 days after the resolution.  

The MOC will then issue an updated company affidavit evidencing amending the name of the Thai company.
