Debtors can be declared bankrupt in Thailand if they are over 2,000,000 Baht in debt as a company (Corporate Bankruptcy) or over 1,000,000 Baht in debt as an individual (Personal Bankruptcy).  

The Thailand bankruptcy proceeding can be initiated by the creditor against the debtor with the Bankruptcy Court.   

The Bankruptcy Court will provide oversight to liquidate & dissolve the business or restructure & rehabilitate the business if possible.
